Tots i totes els xiquets i xiquetes de l'escola no tenen res més que aquesta oportunitat per poder tenir una vida millor. Aquesta escola no governamental i independent educa als nens amb menys recursos de la antiga vila de Khajuraho, tot i l'esforç dels professors i dels habitants d'aquesta petita població situada al cor de la Índia, a l'hivern han de fer la classe al terrat ja que fa massa fred dins les aules, però tots escolten atentament i obtenen coneixements que els ajudaran, tot i les dificultats, a saver que és possible tenir una vida plena. Molt provablement continuaran despertant-se a les 6 del matí per ajudar als seus pares a munyir les vaques, llaurar la terra i treballar durament fins a les 10 del matí que comença l'escola; a partir d'aquella hora poden tornar a ser nens compartint i aprenent.
All of the boys and girls in the school want nothing more than the opportunity to have a better life. The non-governmental independent school educates children with fewer resources from the old town of Khajuraho. Despite the efforts of teachers and inhabitants of this small town in the heart of India, in winter the children attend classes on the roof of the school as it is too cold inside the classroom. Even so, all listen carefully, learn and gain skills that will help them. Even though the conditions are not ideal, the school gives the children ,much needed skills that will enable them to live a fuller and more dignified life. Many of the children probably still have to wake up at 6 am to help their parents with work: milking the cows, plowing the fields and working hard until 10 am when school starts; from that time they can again become children sharing and learning and playing with others.
स्कूल में सभी लड़कों और लड़कियों को बेहतर जीवन प्राप्त करने के अवसर से ज्यादा कुछ नहीं चाहिए। गैर सरकारी स्वतंत्र विद्यालय पुराने शहर खजुराहो से कम संसाधन वाले बच्चों को शिक्षित करता है। भारत के दिल में इस छोटे से शहर के शिक्षकों और निवासियों के प्रयासों के बावजूद, सर्दियों में बच्चों को स्कूल की छत पर कक्षाएं घूमती हैं क्योंकि यह कक्षा के अंदर बहुत ठंडा है। फिर भी, सभी ध्यान से सुनें, सीखें और उन कौशलों को प्राप्त करें जो उनकी मदद करेंगे। हालाँकि हालात आदर्श नहीं हैं, स्कूल बच्चों को बहुत अधिक जरूरी कौशल देता है जिससे उन्हें फुलर और अधिक प्रतिष्ठित जीवन जीने में मदद मिलती है। कई बच्चे शायद अभी भी काम पर अपने माता-पिता की मदद करने के लिए 6 बजे उठना पड़े हैं: गायों को दूध पीना, खेतों की खेती करना और स्कूल शुरू होने पर 10 बजे तक काम करना; उस समय से वे फिर से बच्चों को साझा कर सकते हैं और दूसरों के साथ सीखने और खेल सकते हैं।
